Although the weather may be uncooperative in several parts of the country, Spring officially started on March 20, 2016. For those that missed the memo, Florida Southern College and Texas A&M hosted tournaments prior to the start of Spring, during what most consider Winter; crazy right?!?! Now, the rest of the nation’s collegiate teams ramp up the Spring collegiate season culminating in the NCWSA All-Stars & Team Trials weekend in May.
April 2-3, 2016 Tournaments
This weekend two collegiate tournaments are on the slate. In the Eastern region the University of Alabama will host the Bama Spring Tournament at Lymanland in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In the Western region the University of California, Davis will host the UC Davis Spring Opener.

Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Illinois Chicago
I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
