Upcoming Board Elections: NCWSA Treasurer & NCWSA Secretary

Upcoming NCWSA Board of Directors officer elections will include NCWSA Treasurer and NCWSA Secretary. Both positions are elected for a 1 year term.

Interested non-incumbent parties should submit a resume and cover letter directly to Jeff Surdej (j_surdej@yahoo.com) or indirectly through an active regional chair person (Christy Kingsmill, Jackson Driggs, Paul O’Hara, or Jeff Rush). The preferred file format is PDF.

The one page cover letter should open with stating the position you wish to run for. The remainder of the cover letter should outline your interests, motivations, and plans as related to the position.

Interested parties may inquire, in an email, to Jeff Surdej to determine status of incumbent parties as well as who else has submitted an application to run for election.

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
