UW-Stout Water Ski Team Participates In Homecoming Events!

On Tuesday October 10, 2017 we participated in the Soapbox Derby Race. We had to build/decorate a soapbox car with a limited amount of supplies in 3.5 hours and then afterwards race other clubs down a hill. This year, we took runner up for the 2nd year in a row.

Friday October 13th, the team decorated our “float” which was our boat. The theme for homecoming was Stouter Space so we turned out Ski Nautique into a “Space Nautique” and decorated it with streamers, stars, and aliens to fit the theme. UW Stout Water Ski Team - Homecoming Parade 2017The next day, October 14th was the parade. Everyone had a great time as we pulled 5 of our team members behind the boat on roller blades and handed out candy to the kids.

Sunday morning after homecoming, we got a good group of our team to help clean up the garbage around town after all of the homecoming events.
