UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajun Water Ski Team Performs Community Service

University of Louisiana at Lafayette - Stuff the Boat 2017 Community CollectionOn Friday November 10, 2017 the Ragin’ Cajun Water Ski Team connected with The Student Veterans Organization for a “Stuff The Boat” food, clothing, and toy drive.

The team parked the boat in front of Rouses Supermarket to collect food and clothing for St. Michael’s Center for Veterans. This event is one of many that that the team does to support the community and the University. Additionally, the team collected toys for the United States Marines Toys for Tots annual Christmas toy drive!

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
