Boat & Baked Goods Put Illini Waterski Back on the Map
On Monday, April 22nd, the team had a bake sale and recruiting event on the main quad at University of Illinois! The team’s amazing boat driver Dean Chappell was kind enough to tow the boat from PITS Lake in Decatur, IL (the practice site of the Illini team) to their Urbana-Champaign campus for the event.
Who could miss a brand new, bright red Mastercraft Prostar? With the perfect boat and the beautiful weather, the team was able to meet their fundraising goal and add a few more potential skiers to the team!
