This past weekend, Miami of Ohio hosted the Annual Southern Ohio Challenge at Skiers runway, Ohio. 8 teams participated, including Ohio state, University of Ohio, Indiana University, Purdue University, University of Dayton, Bowling Green State, and University of Cincinnati combined over 100 skiers!
For the first collegiate tournament of the season, Miami had 17 top 10 finishes with Jared Lutz placing 1st in men’s slalom and the Miami women’s team placing 1st overall. In the team scores Miami placed second overall after The Ohio State University with 6,715 points, and in third place was Cincinnati, here is how the rest of the field wrapped up.

This weekend, Great Lakes teams will be in Van Wert, Ohio at Pleasant Shores for the Ball State Fling and first annual Van Wert Collegiate Night Slalom event! Thanks to Skiers Runway and Miami University for hosting, and to the parents and team members that helped run a successful tourney!
