NCWSA Team Rankings: Pre-Nationals Rankings – 10/13/2017

All the regions have wrapped up their skiing and are awaiting the Connelly Skis 2017 NCWSA Nationals! Let’s take a look at how the South Central and Western Regional Championships helped shake up the NCWSA rankings.

Breakdown

  • University of Louisiana at Monroe leaps to the top spot!
  • University of Louisiana at Lafayette maintains #2 as University of Alabama falls to #3.
  • Rollins College and Florida Southern slide to #4 and #5 due to ULM leaping to the top.
  • The biggest jump in the rankings comes from Western Washington University as they finally bring a full team out of the Pacific Northwest and move up 38 spots to 13th!
  • The Eastern region continues to maintain the lead for most teams in top ten, with 4, and it has 3 in the top 5 at spots 3, 4, and 5!
    • The highest ranking Eastern team is the University of Alabama, at #3.

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
