The opening weekend of the NFL and College waterskiing took place this past weekend and it was a weekend of very close events. Iowa State edged out Wisoncing Madison by under 200, ULL beat Monroe by 300, Michigan State beat out state rival Michigan by under 300. The only event not close this weekend was Cincinnati winning by 775 points over Miami of Ohio.
