Laku Landing to Host 2020 Syndicate Waterskis Collegiate Nationals in May 2021

After many NCWSA Board of Directors meetings, we are happy to announce a new date and host for the currently postponed 2020 Syndicate Waterskis Collegiate Nationals.

New Date & Host

On May 13-15, 2021 Laku Landing will host the 2020 Syndicate Waterskis Collegiate Nationals.

Laku Landing in Windsor, CO was slated to be the home of the 2021 NCWSA All-Stars tournament. At this time, the three hosts of Laku Landing, Western Washington University, and Purdue University who were set to host All-Stars are now the named hosts for the 2020 Syndicate Waterskis Collegiate Nationals.

Who Can Ski?

  • Any skier eligible in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 can ski at the 2020 Syndicate Waterskis Collegiate Nationals at Laku Landing.
    • If you have skied 4 collegiate nationals, you are ineligible to ski the 2020 Nationals hosted in May 2021 at Laku Landing.
  • Regions determine how teams will qualify.
  • Wildcard tournament will use scores from TBD qualifying events.

2020-2021 Eligibility Exemption

No skier will use Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 NCWSA skier eligibility for any event in the 2020-2021 academic year.

  • The six-year eligibility window still applies to the consumption of a skier’s eligibility.

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
