Paradise Found Tournament

May 1-2, 2010

You are cordially invited to join us for a beautiful weekend at Wet Set Village and to come dressed as your favorite animal!

Location: Beautiful Wet Set Village, Newberry Springs, CA See directions on next page.

Registration: Attached is the registration format you will need to use. Please submit your registration by midnight on Wednesday April 28th, 2010 to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  If you have any questions about how it works feel free to call Kathryn at (415) 672-1901.  Registration on Saturday will be at 6:30 A.M. on the dock for all A and B skiers.  You must have an AWSA waiver, a lake waiver, and UCSB school waiver filled out and signed by each individual skier by Saturday morning for them to compete.  I have attached the lake waiver and the school waiver if you would like to do this before Saturday.  The team fee is $25 and skier fees are $20, please bring a check or cash to registration Saturday morning.

Accommodations: Camping will be allowed in specific areas around the lake.  Please park all R.V.'s/trailers etc between the cabana (where the flag pole is) and the first house (anywhere on the grass).

Raffle: We will be selling raffle tickets all weekend with some awesome stuff on display at our concession stand, like tournament t-shirts, waterbottles, and other UCSB Waterski Team apparel. Come by and check out our raffle/concession stand and help support the UCSB Waterski Team.

Water: Instead of selling water bottles from Costco, we will be selling aluminum UCSB Waterski Team water bottles for $10. If you buy a water bottle you will receive free ice-cold water all weekend. Otherwise, you can bring your own water bottle and pay $5 for unlimited ice-cold water all weekend.

Site Rules: No glass containers of any sort are allowed on site.  No vehicles of any kind are allowed on the grass past the dock.  The gate will be locked at 10 P.M., if you need to get in after that call Oliver Patton (530)586-0596 or Nick Quaglia (650)714-0881.  On a more serious note, we're still on thin ice with the owners of the lake and will not be able to have Spring Opener at Bell Acqua anymore if we don't try to keep the noise down.  Please help us out and try to keep the noise down if you're walking back to your cars/R.V.'s/tents ect at night.  The party and dinner will be at the end of the lake.  Please keep the party in this area and stay off the dock at night.  NO SMOKING around the lake, it's very dry and will catch fire easily.

Dinner: There will be pizza available for $5 Friday night.  If you're planning on eating Friday night please include with your registration how many skiers from your team will want pizza so we can buy the right amount.  Dinner Saturday will be delicious home made spaghetti and meatballs with salad and bread rolls. Our meal deal for Saturday night is $10 for Jungle Juice/Beverage(s) and dinner.

Saturday Social Gathering: The theme for Saturday night is PARTY ANIMALS!  Get your animal print, gold chains, ears, noses, and tails, dress as your favorite animal and get ready to party!
