21 teams are in for Bakersfield

With the conclusion of the Western Regionals we have all but one of our 22 team nationals set for October 22-24, 2009 in Bakersfeild, CA.

Out of the East Alabama, Florida Southern, and Rollins made it to Division-I Nationals while Clemson and Georgia will represent the East in Division-II.  Out of the Midwest Purdue, Iowa State, and Illinois will compete in Division-I while Cincinnati, Wisconsin-Madison, and Kansas will join the ranks of Division-II.  Down in the South Central it was Lousiana-Monroe defending their ttile followed by Lousiana-Lafayette, and Texas rounding out Division-I spots while Texas A&M, and Texas State will compete in Division-II. Out of the west were going to have Arizona State, Chico, and San Diego State, while Cal Poly, the host of Nationals, and Western Washington will play in D-II.

The top 3 teams who just missed out on Nationals in each Region will be entered in the pseudo-wildcard tournament Monday October 12. So far those teams are Michigan, Wisconsin-Stout, Missouri State, Auburn, Georgia Southern,  UNC-Chapell Hill, Arkansas,  Baylor, UC Davis, Sac State, and St. Marys.
