There is a full slate of tournaments in week 1 - all around the country.

**The East will feature three tournaments this weekend.

Florida Southern is hosting their annual back-to-back, head-to-head tournament doubleshot on Friday 9/9 and Saturday 9/10. It is a two team tournament pitting the two florida skiing powerhouses of Rollins College and Florida Southern College against each other in the FSC 14 and FSC 15 tournaments. These will take place on Lake Grew in Polk City Florida.

Further north in the Eastern Region - Georgia Tech will be hosting their Fall SAC tournament in Talking Rock, Georgia. This will be the first glimpse at what Alabama is bringing to the table this season.

**The South Central has one tournament on the schedule for this weekend. The whole region will descend upon Martindale Texas for the 25th Annual UT Fall Classic.

**The West Region also has one tournament this weekend, as many of those schools still aren't in session yet. Those that are in session, will be heading to beautiful Sky Lake in Durham California for the Chico State Fall Opener.

**The Midwest Region rounds out the opening weekend schedule with a triple-shot of collegiate skiing deliciousness. In the western part of the region will be the Hawkeye Ski Fest, hosted by the University of Illinois in Evansdale Iowa.

The southern third of the midwest will be treated to the Missouri State Fall Showdown, hosted at Lake Freddie in Hartville Missouri.

Finally in the eastern third of the midwest - most of the great lakes conference teams will face-off at the Jepawhit Collegiate Ski Fest - hosted by the University of Michigan-Flint.
