Illini Water Ski Rebuilding the Team!
Under the control of a brand new executive board, the Illini Water Ski Team is focusing on growth and restoration. The team practices at PITS Lake in Decatur, Illinois, and PITS just got a new boat for the season! On Thursday April 12th, the team brought the PITS boat to campus for a couple hours of recruitment. The team and the boat got lots of visitors on the warm day, and there were many prospective members who signed up.
The following Tuesday, April 17th, our team held an info night for those interested, and we had about 10 new people come out. We hope to get on the water and be skiing in the next week, to help us all get a break from finals!
