Hanna Straltsova set the NCWSA Women’s Jump Record at Tri Lakes in Zachary, Louisiana during the Connelly Skis 2017 NCWSA Nationals tournament hosted at Bennett’s Water Ski & Wakeboard School on day 2 of the tournament, October 20, 2017. Hanna was skiing for the University of Louisiana at Monroe when she set the record of 159 feet (48.5m) on the first of her three jumps. The 159ft jump earned Hanna first place in the women’s division 1 jump event at the tournament.

I am Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside and Bachelor's and Masters from Marquette University. I skied collegiately at Marquette and in 2009 I received the NCWSA Outstanding Leader Award. I was NCWSA Operations Committee Chair for 7 years, and the NCWSA Secretary for 8 years.
