Giannina Bonnemann of Team Germany Wins Gold in 2016 WUC Women’s Trick

Giannina Bonnemann is skiing for Team Germany in Akita, Japan at the 2016 World University Championships, but we know her best as a member of the current NCWSA national champion team from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After posting the best women’s trick score in the preliminary round (8880 points), she bested everyone in the women’s trick finals with a score of 7500 points.

The highest placing Team USA skier was Giannina’s collegiate teammate Brittany Greenwood who got 5th with a score of 3930 in the women’s trick finals.

Congrats to Giannina on her gold medal.
