Dylan Schaffer sets new NCWSA Mens Trick record

Dylan Schaffer of Alabama set a pending NCWSA mens trick record of 7050

Dylan Schaffer of Alabama set a pending NCWSA mens trick record of 7050 back in May at the all-stars, after months of record review the NCWSA Board has officially passed this as the new trick record overtaking Jimmy Siemers record which was also done at allstars back in 2005 with a  score of 6820.  Jimmy did that record with just 6 flips, but with the evolution of flips and the fact that NCWSA allows more than 6 flips Dylan Schaffer landed a record 9 flips on his way to becoming the first NCWSa skier to ever break the 7,000 point barrier in just one 20 second trick pass.  Congrats to Dylan.  Rumor has it he has a 7300 point run in the works and don’t forget Freshman Erika Lang will be taking to the water this coming weekend.  To view dylans run click here. http://www.waterskimag.com/features/2014/06/09/mens-pending-ncwsa-trick-record-dylan-schaffer-video/
