Over Labor Day Weekend, OSU held their 4th annual Ohio State Alumni and Friends Fundraising Tournament. Hosted by teammates Kristen and Kevin Dammeyer, over 60 skiers came out for the event. Everyone had a great time skiing, reconnecting, and hanging out on the water. Participation included a lot of new teammates, who were able to come out to see what competitive skiing is all about.
The event included a silent auction with many ski-themed gear like a wooden waterski shelf, a ski chair, other ski related art, quilts, gift cards and ski gear. Overall, the team was able to raise $2000.
The Ohio State Waterski team is thankful for all of the alumni and parents that attended the event, and especially thankful to the Dammeyer family for hosting and running the tournament and donating the gas.
