2020 Nationals Postponed & Fall Eligibility Forgiven

2020 Nationals Postponed & Fall Eligibility Moratorium

The NCWSA Board of Directors met on August 11th, 2020 to discuss the Fall 2020 season and the 2020 NCWSA Nationals tournament.

Nationals Postponed Until Spring

The Board decided to postpone the 2020 NCWSA Nationals set for October 2020 until the Spring 2021 season due to the number of schools that cannot participate in the Fall because of COVID-19 restrictions.

Consumed Fall Eligibility Forgiven for Fall 2020

While we understand that many schools are not able to compete due to university level COVID-19 restrictions, we do not want to discourage skiers or teams that can and wish to ski but do not want to consume eligibility since Nationals is not happening during the Fall 2020 season. With this in mind, the Board decided to forgive any eligibility that skiers consume during the NCWSA’s Fall 2020 season.
